Adam G Arian

I am a lecturer and researcher in accounting and finance, with a focus on auditing, corporate disclosure quality, sustainability, and investment behaviour. My work spans both academia and industry, and I hold CPA and CA qualifications alongside a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern Queensland.

Currently, I work at Australian Catholic University and collaborate with researchers across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan. My research explores how businesses ensure financial transparency, respond to regulatory challenges, and adapt to emerging risks, including climate-related financial concerns.

Beyond teaching, I contribute to leading academic journals and engage in research that informs policy and industry practices. Through The Conversation, I aim to share evidence-based insights on accounting, finance, and business topics in a way that is accessible, relevant, and impactful.
